In our reserved room sombody already was sleeping. Lady Maria did not pick up the Phone . There was a guy in the reception who tried to handle situation after we mentioned that we will call the Police. It was hard to find from the airport, no transfer to which was included as mentioned when we made resrvation. Poor service, place next to main road.

A localização é bastante longe do centro,no entanto em relação ao aeroporto é ótima.

Location

Convenient location when travelling from Stansted. Staff responsive via messages and friendly parking staff. The room was clean.

• The bathroom and kitchenette are shared, which I hadn’t realized when booking. • The walls are paper-thin, you can hear everything. • The guests in the next room were a group of boys behaving like they were on a school trip: shouting, slamming doors, and playing with the microwave until 1am, then starting again at 3:30am. It was completely impossible to sleep. • No staff are on-site between midnight and 4am, so there was no way to get help. The boys even left the barn door wide open when they left at 4am. • The whole atmosphere felt potentially intimidating. I was with my husband and step-son, but if I had been traveling alone, as a woman, I would never have felt comfortable using the shared facilities in those circumstances. This was one of the worst stays I’ve had. While the property cannot control guests behaviour, the setting as it stands allows disrespectful guests to ruin the experience for everyone else, leaving people not only exhausted but also uneasy. For the price, it’s unacceptable. If self-contained units or soundproofing aren’t possible, then the cost should be far lower, because right now how restful or safe your night is going to be depends entirely on which type of guests you’re sharing the barn with. We paid for a sleepless and potentially unsafe experience.
