The Dairy

The location and access to the airport weren’t great. The pick up people didn’t answer their phone. Stuck for 2 hours waiting.

I'm giving this property a 10 as it was exactly as advertised. We had an early morning flight so needed to stay out at Stansted. We caught the Stanstead Express and CSL picked us up outside the Radison Blu and took us to The Dairy. The room was a good size with a TV, dining table, sofa and comfy bed. We shared a kitchen and bathroom with one other room. The kitchen has a toaster, microwave, airfryer and kettle and provided tea and coffee. We brought our own meal as there are no dining options within walking distance although you could order in I suppose. In the morning, it was a super short walk to the CSL office who took us back to the airport for our flight. Couldn't have been better. The host, Heidi, is awesome with communication. Would stay again!

No breakfast provided. Location was on a site with a mixture of small businesses such as a car repairs, beauty therapy studio and a minibus service picking up & dropping off @ the airport, with parking at the location.

That night there was a very strong wind blowing and the constant noise of a door banging somewhere very close by. I think it is quite likely to have been the outside door of The Stables which my travelling companion on our outward journey had stayed in and said the outside door wouldn't lock. I was in the kitchen making myself a hot drink because I couldn't sleep due to the constant banging and was just about to leave the kitchen when I heard the sound of the outside door keypad being used. Then the door being tried to open, which it didn't. Then I saw the letterbox lift up and a hand moving about on the inside of it. after a few seconds the hand was withdrawn. There was no one in the other room in The Dairy, and if it was the outside door of The Stables that was banging, then I assume there was no one in either of the rooms in there. I didn't feel all that safe there on my own but was at least behind 2 locked doors. I can't recommend this property for the above reasons. The host was very helpful in answering my email questions and providing the details to find and access the property.

The facilities were lovely and the bed was very comfy. Lovely overnight stay.

The radiators weren’t very good so was abit cold the bed made up for it though

Location is good but that’s it tbh

Glorified garden shed. Tiny thin walls drafty windows zero sound proofing. Shared toilet and shower. Communal lounge area right outside bedroom door so incredibly noisy. Very cheap std of everything. Bed / sheets/

Lovely space to stay

I would have liked a wardrobe or somewhere to hang clothes.. there was a chest of drawers though.
