Ufford Park Resort

We had dinner in the restaurant the first night. The waitress was friendly and helpful and the food was good. We particularly enjoyed the cheese platter which we shared.

The breakfast was disappointing. The hot buffet was just warm and the bread for toasting was nothing to write home about! The coffee machine kept malfunctioning. On the first morning it produced half a cup and on the second it overflowed the cup.

Nothing to put it bluntly.

Zero sleep all night due to air conditioning unit constantly starting and stopping every 5 minutes or so.

Breakfast was very oily, ran out at 9.30 even though breakfast was till 10am. Had to ask for breakfast. Coffee machine was not working on first morning as staff had not replenished it possibly due to the fact they were standing chatting to each other a lot. Better on second day.

Staff's attitude, especially in the swiming pool area.

Breakfast very good. Dinner ok. Good portions

The shower wasn’t too good and the water was constantly hot so one had to be careful.

Potentially good course but not in good condition.

Breakfast service poor - not enough staff, long queues at coffee station - food very greasy.

Pool and gym are decent.

Hotel is in need of a refurb. Its very dated Rooms are average Bathrooms are old and tired

Not a lot

Wrong beds. Requested twin and got double which had to be altered by staff after waiting 4 hours. Couldn't find night staff. Very poor breakfast drinks machine broke down twice and no sugar. Not much choice for breakfast. What there was of it. No senior staff just young people trying to cope. Not very good management. Won't be returning Lots of guests complaining at breakfast. Poor staff was doing their best.

Helpful staff

Rooms were hot. Whole hotel is tired and needs complete refurbishment.
