Lovely Guest House

Good location. Good to have access to a kitchen.

Disturbed sleep as carbon monoxide monitor had low batteries and bleeped all night. They said someone would come to fix but no-one came. The listing included facilities that didn't exist (eg shared lounge, TV, satellite channels, streaming services). Communication was very poor, including about getting access code thereby increasing anxiety. No apologies.

Room size Has a TV, wardrobe and kitchen area

Other guests kept leaving the front door unlocked, could do with automatic lock once the door shuts behind you No hot water to shower, I messaged the owner to try sort it for the next day but nothing was resolved The rooms floor was badly damaged Rooms not clean

Cleanliness of all aspects of the facility, room, bed are very poor and dirty. Bed had other people's hair in it. Floors the same, had not been cleaned in a long time. Toilet smells of mould, shower was only cold water. Noisy, kept up all night by neighbour through the wall and other guests microwaving food at 01:30am and smoking marijuana in and outside the property until 4am. Left after only getting 2 hours sleep, didn't finish the stay, went home.

Smoke alarm kept beeping , no WiFi . Parking could be issue however there is parking available nearby.

It was atrocious, rubbish bags all in the front garden inside very very basic , I felt like I'd arrived at a ghetto, the street was slummy, this to be called the very lovely guest house , is so far from the truth , I LIKED NOTHING AND DIDNT EVEN STAY booked in elsewhere

See above I think this establishment should be re vetted, as its not great for booking.com's reputation, I've always been happy , going cheap , doesn't have to be nasty just basic

Upon arrival the code sent to me originally did not work however I must say after contacting the owner he/she replied promptly and was able to sort out the codes

The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom downstairs were not clean at all the floors were dirty and there was also dirty sheets left in a bag The outside of the property looked horrible there was rubbish all over the place didn’t not meet my expectations due to the mess and overall cleanliness

The plasce is a compleat shit hole .it's dirty ..there were blood on the sheets ..we had a lot of trouble getting in I.m actually going to report it to the council..the garden is a mess and the bathroom was dirty ..I realy did.nt want to shower..there is no way they should be charging for peoeple to stay there ..bloody horrid . There was no bath mat ..1 small loo roll between possibly 8 guests 1 bathroom ..I would call.it a doss house ..not a lovly bb utterly descuting it has.nt been cleaned for weeks . In actual fact I would like my money back

The person dissapeared and never returned I text and was told a key would be left in the box by the door and a code was shared later in the afternoon. We returned late and with another couple there were no keys in the box we were told we had been moved to room 4 but couldn't get in as there was no key. The original room still had a dodgy door buy at that point we were tired so went in and couldn't lock it. We still didn't get an extra towel either. The house in general was very shabby indeed and both front and back gardens terrible. Even though we didn't go for this the pictures don't show the true appearance of this place and we were very very lucky to actually get a room but through no help of the owner.
