The location is very good, and the rooms are large.

The place is very poorly maintained. The walls are stained, the furniture is old and damaged, there are wires coming out of the wall - it does not look like the pictures at all. All of this would have still been fine, if it weren´t for the incredibly poor service. The first day I had no running cold water and no wifi, and after I complained they sent someone to fix it, without actually fixing anything. The next day I asked to check out and get a refund for the rest of my trip. I was told that refunds are not possible, but suddenly they were able to repair both the water and the Wifi. I then had their breakfast, which was a big mistake, as I ended up with horrible food poisoning, being unable to hold down any liquid or food for over 3 days. On my second day, around noon, we lost power and running water again. I waited a bit to complain, as power outages can happen in Nigeria, but eventually I could not stand being sick without air conditioning and without the ability to even flush the toiled behind me any longer. They promised me they were working on a solution. I called every hour until the evening, every time being told it will be fixed eventually, but no idea when. Eventually, around 9 pm, the manager just turned his phone off - still no water and no electricity, with no one for me to reach. I ended up leaving and booking another hotel, because I could not stay another night in those conditions, even having lost the money I already paid for this accommodation.

Power down sometimes, which can't be helped normally.
