Pleasant welcome and taken up to the room. Provided with information on the property

The property was very far from the centre of Brighton and not in the best area. The room was very small and tired. The room was not serviced from day to day other than the duvet being put back. Towels not changed, toiletries, not replenished, room and bathroom not cleaned. Additionally, the floors were very creaky and we were kept awake both nights by guests in the bedroom above stomping around very heavily late into the night. Definitely not 8.2 rating

I liked the proximity to seaside and to the pier. I also liked the flexible access to the room without having to wait for the reception. The room was also equipped with hairdryer and an iron which was great.

The humidity and lack of ventilation did not allow the towels to dry properly especially that the shower was built in the room and did nit has its own window. I did not ask for new towels though. However, the cleaner went to the room when I was outside tidied the room but did not change the towels which I think should be done without asking.

Clean comfortable and well priced
