Oil burnt onto the base of the large frying pan and large saucepan needed cleaning properly

Great value for money. Clean and comfortable (also warm despite the chilly spring weather). Good, and relatively new facilities and all in working order.

A dishwasher would have been good, but no big deal in our case. Slightly random, but there were two lamps in the living room, however no sockets to plug them into.

Everything was fine

We had a lovely stay here. Lovely property and clean. Location is great too - only a 20 minute drive from the lovely town of Durham. The box of chocolates and the bottle of prosecco was much appreciated and we loved that there was a decorated Christmas tree in the living room as we were here over Christmas. Would recommend this property.

The only two things (if I want to be picky) were that the pillows were really not comfortable and the smell of damp in the upstairs ensuit bathroom but we left the window open for a bit and after every shower. You could no longer smell it after the first day.

Very peaceful place and everything in the house is well kept
