The Annex

The owner was nice to let us in even earlier the check-in time and to borrow us a disposable bbq. Her mum offered to fix the bedroom’s bulb which was not working and gave us a small table which we used to have breakfast as there was nothing in the kitchen to eat on.

we found the place very dusty under the bed. The bed sheets smelling as these had not been changed for months, with also stains on the pillows. The chest drawer had a loose handle. The shower head was loose. We had to keep it stuck in the handle of the shower otherwise it would have fallen all the times! no lamp on one of the two bedside tables. No bin in the toilet and no place where to place our toiletry bags either. The garden was not taken care overall. The plants on the wooden gate, at the entry, were full of thorns and you had to be careful of not being scratched when leaving the gate. Finally, in the garden, the solar power lights were not working and at 8.30ish pm we had to get in while we wanted to stay outside a little bit longer after the bbq. The small fridge did not have the bar to keep the bottles stuck on the side. They kept falling. No enough kitchen tools.

Beautiful space, comfortable and provided a lovely time away

It was okay for its price and it was in a great location making it easy for us to access beaches and other towns. There was a nice little fridge that kept drinks cold.

The WIFI was almost non-existent. It was quite bad to be honest. Also, the apartment wasn't very clean especially the bathroom as it had mould in the shower and there was mould in the fridge as well. There was also a lot of dust and cobwebs. The entire apartment could really use professional cleaners. The grass/bushes beside the property were very much overgrown and we could not use the outdoor seating area because of this.

There was no cooking stuff

Comfy and quiet for a couple of nights near Rame Head. Good bed, great bathroom.

Kitchen very basic but good enough and as expected

It was room only, just a kettle and tea-bags etc provided. Quiet comfortable room, good shower, TV (though I didn't use that). Not a place I would stay in for a two-week holiday, but for the couple of nights' stay I needed (to attend a nearby party on the Saturday) it was ideal. Local pub next door was great for meals. I only booked on the day, quite out of the blue, and my host was very helpful.

No coat-hangers provided, and had to ask my host for the WiFi code, but neither of these things were a problem. Host very helpful - didn't actually meet her, we communicated via WhatsApp. She was very responsive to my messages and very helpful.
