The Annex

Good communication from host prior to arrival re: directions etc. Had issue with WiFi, texted host and the issue was sorted within minute. Good Job.

No breakfast

No cooking or Wifi no shops

Place was ok. Marmalade and jam was provided as well as tea bags. Towels too.

Mattress was marked as was the duvet and duvet cover. Doesnt cost too much to replace these which would have made all the difference. We had stripped the bed when leaving to help but then discovered all the marks. Think there should have been a smoke alarm in the annex as we didn't see one

It’s a nice property in a quiet area to use as a base for exploring. There’s a pub right next to it. There’s a little outdoor area to access in nice weather. Clean aside from bedsheets being all stained.

Bedsheets were all stained (including pillowcases). The showerhead was not attached to the hose so had to hold the pieces together while showering. There is a mini fridge but property would benefit from a microwave or portable hot plate.

Tiny annex but so comfortable and homely.

Steps up to bedroom.no bedroom door people in garden next door able to see into bedroom.inadequate heating ,needs microwave in kitchen,needs handrail on stairs for elderly like us.
