YU Resort

Beautiful and spacious modern rooms. Very clean and excellent air conditioning. We wanted a quiet place and this was quiet. Staff really wanted to make sure we had a great time. I would return.

Breakfast could have been a bit more simple. There were a lot of savory items. Msambweni is not a tourist town (yet), so bring what you need but it’s easy to get to Diani by Uber or taxi (or motorcycle if you’re daring).

Initially the food was good....and they have friendly staff.

There is no synchronised service 1. Meal portions became small dint have enough serving during N.Y.E. dinner 2. The resort did have electricity issues and there was a day where there was no power for 8 hours 3. The staff aren't well coordinated....there were no waiters at the pool near the beach despite requesting this several times 4. They play good music upstairs but then again there are no waiters to serve drinks

Breakfast was fantastic and delicious the staffs were super friendly and helpful the environment was just marvelous very clean rooms and surroundings.

there were no greens in both lunch and dinner and also had limited food varieties. they are also slow in time we especially missed the bonfire which was supposed to start at 10:00pm and we had to leave at 11:30pm as it was still being set up

Tucked away in Msambweni is this gem of a hotel. We had wonderful family stay over 2 nights. The staff were all very kind and accommodating who felt like family by the end of the stay. Big thank you to the kitchen staff who surprised my daughter with a cake on her 3rd birthday. She was over the moon! Big thanks to Mercy at reception who was very accommodating and allowed us to stay a few more hours for the kids to swim a little more. The beach is on the doorstep and really clean and quiet. Clean rooms, clean and quiet pools, great food and fast WiFi what is there not to like! Would highly recommend a stay whilst the hotel is still quite new and value for money!

Eggs more readily available for breakfast More activities like table tennis etc would be nice

The facility is quite private, the staff ,10/10, absolutely gems and always trying to make sure your stay is comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean!. YU is an absolute gem if you are trying to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

The entire service team consistently went above and beyond to make our family Christmas experience truly unforgettable. We would love to visit again! A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Duncan and your team for giving us the best Christmas celebration. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the variety of activities planned during our stay, keeping them entertained throughout. The food was exceptional, from breakfast to dinner, with a menu thoughtfully catering to the kids, which was a huge help. Lastly, the view was absolutely breathtaking. We cherished the beach and the stunning sunsets—it was the perfect selection for our holiday.

This is paradise!!! So so beautiful and in a great location. It can accommodate different groups of people; families, groups of friends, honeymoon couples etc. The rooms are clean, big and modern with smart Tvs. There are two well thought out and good sized pools. One in a place with a shade (and a slide) and the other one in the open overlooking the beach. The beach is private and clean. They have two rooftop areas where one can catch the most breathtaking sunset. The food was well prepared and inclusive. The hospitality was excellent. The staff were the cherry on top. The resort is run by Mr Kinoti, a true gentleman, who was constantly on his feet to ensure everything was running seemlessly. The restaurant staff: Juma, Albert, Bakari.... just to mention a few, were so kind and attentive. They went the extra mile to meet our needs always. We couldn't thank them all enough for giving us an unforgettable experience. Ps: The coffee is outstanding!
