"Amazing place and strategic position"

AMAZING! Traditional Japanese place with big rooms (we were 4 adults and we were perfectly comfortable). Bathrooms are shared but very clean. Ai (the host) was super nice and we had a great time. The position is perfect, the place is 1 min away from the ski rental shop and 5 min from the slopes. All the bars and restaurants are less than 5 min walk. If I come back I would stay here again. I totally recommend it.

"Our best stay in Japan!"

The host, Ai Chan is amazing! She went out of her way to make our stay special. The rooms are huge, the beds are super comfortable and the breakfasts were outstanding. The hotel has two private onsens which are great to use before and after a day on the mountain. The location is in the middle of Akakura Onsen. It's a 300m walk to Akakura Onsen lifts or the Myoko Kogen shuttle service that takes you to all of the resorts around Myoko Kogen. There are a heap of restaurants and bars next to the hotel.

If you are a light sleeper you will hear the snow clearing machines after a heavy snow storm.

"Amazing will come back for sure!"

Everything was beyond expectations. My first time to Japan and Snowboarding. Ai San made it all so much easier and wonderful. She is very thoughtful and always goes out of her way to ensure my stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

"Perfect week in Akakura"

I loved everything about our stay at Baco! Big room, comfy beds, great onsen! But most of all The host Ai Chan is an amazing, friendly, welcoming person and from the second we arrived made us feel at home. By the end it felt like we had had an awesome week staying over with a friend. Easily one of my favourite places I've ever stayed and we can't wait to come back!

"Incredible stay with the best host in Akakura!"

Highly recommended stay in Akakura! The room was very spacious & spotless along with a nice communal dining area, fully equipped kitchen, a dry room for all your snow gear, clean toilets and an amazing natural onsen which can be private for you to enjoy. It was a perfect way to end the day. We loved our host, her english was great and was able to provide recommendations on local attractions and snow info.

Nothing - wish we were able to stay longer.
