Mopani Lodge Victoria Falls

Staff were fantastic

Our room was a little dated, however I am aware that renovations were ongoing

We stayed in the self catering apartment which is around the corner from the hotel (approx. 4 min walk). It is a really nice apartment in a gated and secure complex. Space for a car if you have one (we didn't, as we just used taxis). On the ground floor of the apartment there is a decent kitchen (washing machine incl, which was super handy), a nice lounge with a smart TV, dining room and a loo. Additionally there is a lovely little walled garden where you can sit out, BBQ and even hang your laundry. Upstairs there are two en suite bedrooms, both very spacious and comfortable. WiFi was good and reliable. Big bonus is the directly across the road from the complex is a grocery shop and a restaurant, and we went to both multiple times. So handy to have them there. The staff at the main hotel are wonderful. Friendly and helpful and super polite. They helped us with taxis, booking restaurants, recommendations, etc. Every interaction was a positive one. The location of the hotel/apartment is fine, there are loads of taxis to take you in to the town center/the Falls themselves. Best to find a driver you like and just use them throughout your journey, which the hotel does help with. They also organized transportation from and to the airport, which was super handy.

I am not 100% sure I would have been as happy if we stayed in the hotel. It definitely did not look the same standard as the apartment, although it still looked very comfortable, and of course, has lovely people working there.

Amazing value for money. Exceptional service off the staff. Lovely breakfast. I liked sitting by the pool on the terrace to do some work - wifi best there. All our excursions picked up there

Prefer if the cleaners closed all windows while cleaning and after to avoid bugs. There was nothing else really. Everything was very good

Las habitaciones están muy viejas, necesitan una reforma. Supongo que llegará porque ahora están renovando toda la zona exterior.
