Mopani Lodge Victoria Falls

Myself and my boyfriend had a truly fantastic experience staying at this property. The open spaces were beautiful and peaceful, and the separate lodge/cottage layout was a great feature that made our stay feel more private and special. Our room was spacious, clean, offering the perfect space to relax and unwind. The standout feature of this lodge, however, was the incredible staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The chef was very friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated how he made sure every meal was just right. Front of house staff were always there to answer questions and organised our tours with ease! The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable throughout the lodge, which made it easy to stay connected when needed, but it also felt like the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings like the pool area. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, enjoy great service, and make lasting memories. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable stay with a great team of staff!

There’s really not much to dislike about Mopani Lodge—the entire place has such a great vibe! There are a couple of minor things that could be added, for instance, having a few more hangers in the wardrobe would be helpful, and occasionally the water temperature can be a bit cold. Also, the shower head in our room could use replacing, as it sprays in a few different directions. These are just small details and in no way detract from the overall fantastic experience!

The setting is beautiful, it is well maintained and provided everything that we required. The staff were incredibly helpful, polite and warmly engaging. Nothing was too much trouble.

Overall nice boutique hotel, amazingly kind and professional staff. Excellent communication before arrival, they organized all excursions and airport pickup for me. Great food at restaurant. Confortable rooms, with great hot showers and A/C. Kettle and fridge in room, but bring coffee sticks.

It’s not walking distance to the Falls, but the excellent Tawanda or Tanaka at reception will call a taxi for you, just 7$. No real coffee, but big boss promised he will have a coffee machine installed soon. No TV but good wifi, so come with your tablet. No shampoo, bring your own.

BReakfast was good

Some rooms had a strong smell of creosote which is used to preserve the ceiling beams.

Comfortable room and bed. Nice small pool. Good hot and cold breakfast. Fabulous owners and staff who can’t do enough to help. With suggestions, booking tours. Sorting rooms. Taxis and pickups from around town. They organised a lovely tour to the falls with a guide. And a fabulous trip to chobe where we saw 4 of the big 5. No rhino there. Hundreds of elephants there and also many in Vic falls itself. Close to supermarket and good bar/restaurant.
