Had everything we needed , Wayne was great and responded quickly, clean and tidy on arrival

No access to garden and it is pet friendly :)

The rooms were large, the street in front of the entrance and parking was wide, the entrance hall was useful. There were 3 styles of couches so you had a bunch of variety to pick from. The heating was turned off but the landlord managed to turn that on very quickly so that was great customer service.

The shower/bathroom was in the bedroom, no matter what we did to make it not spill our or splash out the bathroom still got moisture on the floor. The toilet/bathroom was quite tiny and cramped. There were spiderwebs in a lot of places, and it smelled musty/damp. It just needed a good clean before we arrived.

Very good location, the accommodation was just the right size for us.

Dirty, strained bedding provided for the sofa bed. Crumbs were in the bedding with stains on the sheet. The pillows have stains on them and are in poor condition. Dirty cushions on the sofas and cob webs behind the bed in the main bedroom. flickering down light in the kitchen. When we informed the property of the issues they did not accept this was true and had no solution. At the time we discovered the dirty bedding it was too late for us to drive home which we would have done. Disappointing as this would have been a perfect stay otherwise.

It was close to Bakewell and Chatsworth House, which is what brought us here.

The sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest and the cleanliness of the place wasn’t great. There were cobwebs and spiders everywhere and we had to wash some pans before we were able to cook with them. There was also one sofa cushion that looked like it had dried snot on it. We personally feel like a little more attention to detail and it would be an ideal place to stay.

Clean, comfortable, lovely location. Access easy and within a short walk of 2 pubs (best check if serving food for evening). Management responsive to communication.

The shower is located in the bedroom and toilet located off the sitting room, so awkward with 3 people staying. We messaged beforehand and explained we were a group of 3 friends. However, only 2 sets of towels provided. The bedding for the sofa bed not easy to find. No complimentary tea, coffee or milk - a first! No small sharp knife for preparing food. However apart from these niggles it is a very presentable apartment and a great base gor exploring a historical area with plenty of great walks on the doorstep.

Location says Bakewell, and it's NOT ,it's in Birchover, which is 15 minutes away from the centre . Who rents a house out that's pet friendly without a GARDEN !!! Contacted the owner to ask if there was a garden and received a very unprofessional message back saying no, but there are acres of fields around RUDE! I mean, if my dog wanted the toilet through the night, then I would have to walk down the road to a suitable place in the dark on a country lane . It's totally not suitable at all The private bathroom as advertised is obismal it's a shower in the bedroom that leaks all over the carpet, which stinks fusty . Who has a carpet next to a shower . Locks everywhere in the property feels like a prison . Says on the site whole house, but as a matter a fact, it's just the downstairs the property. People upstairs sounded like elephants We could even switch the lights on from downstairs to upstairs .I've been ripped off with this property. I wouldn't have paid more than £80 No welcome note ,no info on where it is nice to eat . Cobwebs everywhere, rim of glasses stank just been quickly cleaned . No dog bowls for the dogs .skirting boards disgusting If you like the smell of dog urine, then this is the place for you . We totally understand it's pet friendly. However, my home is pet friendly and doesn't sting my eyes with the smell URINE Host needs to stop false advertising this property . It's like being sold an actual Bakewell tart and then receiving a cornflake tart !
