Coast Path Camping

The hut was cute inside & clean. There was a kettle & tea & coffee & a socket to charge ur phone.

The first night it was very windy out & the hut shook like mad & you could feel draughty coming in. (The second night it was calm & we slept well.) There are no curtains at the 3 windows so we had to put towels up. No privacy when changing in evening & woken up by light in early hours. It would not cost a lot to make some little curtains for each hut. The toilets & shower floors were really grim when we arrived but had been cleaned the next day. The beds are ok if yr on yr own or for two small, slim people. It would not work if you are participatory tall or slightly large. The view of the oil refinery made us laugh, as don’t recall it being mentioned previously.

The accommodation was a rustic gypsy caravan lookalike. Had character and there were only three caravans so the site was peaceful. Adjacent to the coastal footpath.

The caravans were basic inside and I think would have been pretty cold out of Summer months. Toilets were likewise basic with a leaking urinal. We spent most of our time down at Dale beach or walking. Whilst we did enjoy our stay, I feel it was poor value for money at just short of £90 per caravan per night even in July holidays.

Amazing place, the shepherds hut was lovely.

The automatic light in the showers went off mid shower so I had to finish in the dark.

Great location and quirky camping. Super helpful owners . Having fridge nearby was great. Tables outside made the evenings easy to bbq .

I guess just making the shower cubicles a bit easier to use with some hooks / space to hang towels would be helpful. The beds are small which is ok for us but just to note.
