Coast Path Camping

The hut was really cute and a fun place to stay. We had the best sleep and really enjoyed our stay. For your info, you have to pay extra for towels, the lovely staff gave us these for free. I recommend other visitors to bring their own large towels or a dressing robe as the showers are outside and shared. You will also need to bring your own shower gel, which is fine but useful to know. The location is so nice I recommend you bring your own picnic food for dinner and breakfast and enjoy the views. We didn’t have food provisions, do we walked to the local pub the Brook Inn, which was very nice and the food was very good.

We struggled to find it. The huts are on a farm, I think it was called Millbrook Farm. There was no mention of this on the address. It would be helpful to have a Coast Path Camping sign on the main road at the junction and a second sign just outside the farm.

Quiet location on a farm and close to where I needed to be.

Friendly and helpful host; facilities as advertised, clean and in working order. Perfect location, right on the coast path and a pub 10 mins walk away. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Only a net curtain over the window by the bed so was woken up with the light, but otherwise super comfortable

Location is perfect

Facilities are very basic - but clean The double bed is super small. Expect to snuggle up!

Field was well maintained. Hut was clean & warm overnight. Owners gave us a lift to our onward journey, as transport links are challenging.

Bed was small. Only net curtain on the windows, so light from 4.

It was ever so cute. Romantic really. The pub/restaurant in the village was just the job too

The toilets/shower block could be upgraded.

Let’s not beat around the bush, it’s basic. Simple as that. Don’t expect bells & whistles and you won’t be disappointed. We loved it. What we expected. Toilets, shower block cleaned every day. Ample hot water. Hosts were lovely and helpful. Coast path on your doorstep. Pub 10 minutes with friendly people and fantastic food. We missed service Friday evening but the chef made us 2 take away pizzas. Perfect 🤩

The location, uncrossed site and proximity to the toilet and shower blocks. Friendly site owner. Spacious Shepherds hut.

We liked the mocha for the first night hot drink but it wasn't replaced for the second. Perhaps a trivial comment but indicates how little we disliked the experience.

Peaceful coast path location. Very sweet Shepherds hut with direct access onto the coast path - I was glad I’d bought a few creature comforts from home - hot water bottle and blanket - although blankets are available at the property. The bed was cosy and comfortable .The loo and toilet facilities were basic but very clean as was our hut. Perfect location for walkers.

A small point but I would have liked a few clothes hooks
