Royal Arkadia Villa Uluwatu

We had a wonderful experience at Royal Arkadia Villa Uluwatu! The facilities are truly amazing, and the pool is absolutely lovely – perfect for relaxing after a day out. While the surrounding area is still undergoing some construction, it really didn't detract from our stay. The room itself was exactly as advertised in the photos and descriptions, clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Overall, we felt this villa offered excellent value for money. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Uluwatu!

What you see online is exactly what you get! No nasty surprises when you walk in; the rooms are comfy and look great.

Just a heads-up, the area around the villa is still being built up. The villa itself is super peaceful, but you might hear some construction noise during the day.

This was our second time at Royal Arkadia Villa Uluwatu, and it just keeps getting better! We already loved the awesome facilities and gorgeous pool from our first visit, and they were fantastic again. The team keeps things looking great! Even with some construction nearby, it didn't bother us. The villas are always a peaceful escape and look exactly like the pictures – no surprises! Comfort and the overall vibe are top-notch.

Walking distance to shops and restaurants

The bathroom was dirty and infested with loads of flies. I contacted the property and they said they would send someone to sort it. Returned later in the afternoon and the bathroom was still the same with loads of flies. Spoke to a member of staff on sight who told me they had no fly spray and so could not do anything. After continuing to explain to them that the bathroom could not currently be used to the condition they finally said they would go and get some fly spray. Went through the spray within the evening. The bathroom was then full of dead flies and still loads of alive flies and was not cleaned again. The swimming pool was unable to be used because the filter had not been working and as such was full of dirty stagnant water. The living area/kitchen area cannot be used because of the unbearable heat. There is no air conditioning in this room just a fan which blows around hot air. It feels hotter in this area than outside. The bathroom is also very hot. We stayed one night and left and found new accommodation for the remaining duration of our stay in Uluwatu. We wouldn’t have stayed the first night however I could not get through to booking.com to ensure we would get a refund and it was too late in the night to be trying to relocate. We received a refund for the nights we did not stay there however the property are refusing to give us a refund for the first night stayed there even though the facilities could not be used. They will not even provide a partial refund for the first night to account for the fact we could not use the swimming pool, kitchen/living area, and could barely use the bathroom. The property are now ignoring my messages requesting a refund for the first night. I would also not book anywhere with booking.com as they provide terrible customer service, they state that they do not have any power over refunds and it is always the properties decision regarding refunds. Also like being on a building site with all the construction

Good location

Aircon was very weak - super hot inside still and constantly dripping. Ants and bugs everywhere.

Staff were responsive and helpful when needed. Value for money, newer apartment

The floor level TV area was filled with mosquitoes and insects due to a gap around the door frame. Needs to be fixed as the area is unusable. Upstairs toilet area layout is not the best, every time you shower it fills the floor up with water. So when you need to use the toilet, you're stepping in a puddle

One of the best western-furnished accommodations in the area. Best for all westerners who wants to feel like home. All fancy places, restaurants, and shops are within two minutes on a motorbike! Although most buildings are still under construction, the staff was helpful and helped with all my requests.
