Moonlight Inn Kujo

My husband said the mattress fixed his back, the mattress was too thin for me and everything hurt when breastfeeding at night. 😄 Great location, close to the metro and bus right in front of the house. Very beautiful, new, comfortable accommodation. Sufficiently equipped apartment. Ideal for small children, they won't fall anywhere.

There was some road noise at night with the window open, but it was manageable 😊

Very clean. Well located for the station and for east Kyoto. Host was responsive and helpful when problems arose. Easy to find and easy check in process.

It’s very expensive for such a small space, a lot more expensive than a much larger property we rented subsequently in Osaka. It’s quite dark with little natural light. The kitchen is not well equipped. A single hob. Not enough basic crockery and cutlery to make breakfast for 3 people. There were noisy construction works going on outside throughout our stay which resulted in the water being turned off. Although the host was very responsive when we raised it and confirmed when the water would be switched back on we had no advance warning that we would lose running water for several hours.

L’emplacement.

Les futons étaient trop minces et deux futons étaient tachés de façon dégoûtante. L’équipement de la cuisine était très insuffisant : pas de verres (impossible de boire un verre d’eau) pas de couteaux pas d’assiettes. Juste 4 tasses enfantines. Pas de machine à laver comme sur les photos. Absolument aucun rangement, tous les placards étaient réservés au staff du loueur.

Security concern/bad management - staff accessed property twice during our 5 night stay without prior notice or warning. Staff opened front door while we were inside. We were shocked when it happened, twice is unacceptable. However it does not seem to be ill-intended, just poor management Corners of the property can be cleaned better - cob webs and dust and mold in bathroom can be seen

Het appartement is heel netjes en goed gelegen. Het contact met de verhuurder verloopt vlot. De slaapkamers zijn ruim.

De eetruimte is erg krap. Er is weinig eetgerei aanwezig. De eigenaar zegt dat er geen rolluiken zijn, maar die zijn er gelukkig wel. De afwezigheid van stoelen of zetels is wennen voor Europeanen

Unterkunft in guter Lage (Bus vor der Tür, U-Bahn gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Gastgeber haben schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und waren hilfsbereit.

Für Seitenschläfer und Gäste, die nicht an Futon-Betten gewöhnt sind, können die Futons unbequem sein. Es waren die dünnsten Futons unserer Japanreise. Auf dem Rücken hat man aber gut schlafen können.
