Dodgy property, stay away

I wasn’t even allowed to enter to stay in the room I booked. Avoid at all costs, some serious scammer managing the property.

Nothing but a regrettable experience.

I regretted selecting this property during my stay in London in February. At first the owner of this property who is a Nigerian woman, deliberately listed facilities that doesn't exist in her property on booking.com to fraud booking customers. Is still don't understand how booking.com allow her property to be listed on their platform. My major reason of selecting her property was because it was listed to have a double room with private bathroom, whereas none of the room has a private bathroom when I visited to check in. And when I requested that she offer me the room based on my booking details, she decline and suggested that I cancel my booking when it wasn't possible any longer. I reached out to customer center same evening to complain of the fraud and seek for cancellation with refund of £350 (i.e £50 for 7 nights). However, booking customer centre team didn't handle the case professionally. Despite all the picture evidences I submitted to substantiate my complaint about the property, No proper or physical investigation was conducted and the frauster/property prayer was refitted for the service not rendered.. I conclusion,, I was utterly disappointed in booking.com for not protecting the interest of their customers who spend their hard earned money on the platform but rather shielding the property owner who swindle people on this booking platform.
