Luxury Guest House

Very comfortable bed.

I asked for a Desk and Chair which was arranged for me. The bed was nice and comfortable, Tea and coffee making facilities were provided as well as Towels. There was a TV in the bedroom too. The toilet is in the bathroom which had a large bath, two sinks and a shower. Ample toilet rolls were provided, there is a second toilet on the ground floor before you get to the patio. There was a kitchen, with a table and chairs, there was also a sofa in the conservatory. My room was at the front of the house, so I wasn't disturbed by the trainline at the back of the house and the road outside was quiet. Make sure that you avail yourself of the large bath.

Alfred keeps the place incredibly clean and comfortable. It has a gorgeous kitchen and a conservatory. A wonderful place to sit with a cup of tea.

Great value from money. I was kindly allowed early check in. House is very well equipped. Comfortable room and towel provided.

This was the loudest and worst place I have stayed in my entire life. It was so bad that I left after a day (they of course did not refund me the rest) and booked something else. It is like sleeping on the train tracks and there is another guest room adjacent where you hear every word. Calling this luxury is a massive misrepresentation.

Bardzo sympatyczny i pomocny właściciel. Niestety pokój z oknem dosłownie kilka metrów od torów, pociąg co kilka minut, straszny hałas - to jednak powinno być jakoś zaznaczone w opisie bo jest to coś co wielu osobom totalnie uniemożliwi spanie. Pokój czysty, łazienka niestety nie - włosy w wannie i pod prysznicem.

the place is nice and clean a bit noisy hearing the footsteps from the upper floor but not bad at all. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the host is very flexible I really appreciate that he allow me to check in a bit early to drop my luggage because I arrived early and its really a big plus for me.

Ce n'est certainement pas luxueux mais c'est un bon rapport qualité prix pour Londres. Une chambre double très petite côté rue mais bien aménagée avec grande télé, fauteuil, porte manteau et cintres. Les bus sont à moins de 10mn de marche et le quartier est résidentiel, tranquille et safe. La grande salle de bain est bien aménagée avec des produits de douche à disposition, la cuisine est bien équipée aussi même si je ne m'en suis pas servie. L'hôte ne s'est pas montré mais est très réactif par message s'il y a besoin de quelque chose. Il y a des serviettes de toilette fournies. Les parties communes sont globalement propres. En tant que femme seule je me suis sentie en sécurité.

Le lieu n'est pas du tout insonorisé et on entend ce qui se passe tout autour, penser à des boules quiès si vous êtes sensible au bruit. On entend aussi les trains passer mais ça ne me dérangeait pas. Les draps dans la chambre ne sentaient pas la lessive et je n'étais pas sûre qu'ils aient été lavés même s'ils avaient l'air propres. Sinon j'ai payé pour une chambre avec un lit King Size et un canapé (image fournie au moment de la résa) ; j'ai eu un lit queen size et pas de canapé. Le propriétaire n'a rien voulu admettre d'anormal ou d'incorrect quand je lui ai fait remarquer. Un simple pardon aurait suffi.
