Coral Bay Zanzibar

We had a delightfully huge room with a sitting area inside the room and a sitting area outside the room. The breakfasts were great, with fresh fruit, crepes, eggs. This is a super quiet part of the bay, and we loved the peace. Yet, we could walk to other resorts and restaurants to dine or just have a coffee or a drink. The resort restaurant had a small menu from which you could pre-order lunch or dinner. We did that a few times, and the food was good. The staff was great--friendly and super-attentive.

The water in the bathroom sink and shower was salty, which made it a bit strange for brushing teeth and showering. We got used to it after a few days. It would have been nice if the room had a safe. I wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like; these are just little things.

Beds were comfortable and food good.

No electricity and limited time using the generator. No wi-fi when No electricity. Water leak in room which was repaired by staff.

We had heavy leakage for two nights at a row.

For the beginning we were very happy to be able to check in earlier cause we were very tired from the flights. Tony welcomed us with welcome-drinks. He was very super friendly and always helpful all the time of our stay! Big thanks to you! The hotel itself is pretty new and it was just perfect for our holiday to relax. The room is very clean and well prepared with amenities, towels and more. The beachfront was quiet without annoying beach vendors and it was very clean aswell. In case of low-tide we could use on of the highlights of the hotel - the beautiful pool. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Abdul made sure, we could rent a motorbike thanks for that! It’s highly recommended to stay here!

Our stay at Hotel Coral Bay in Zanzibar was simply wonderful, and we owe much of that to our fantastic host, Abdul. The location's beauty was breathtaking, with pristine beache and crystal-clear water, it's a small paradise. Abdul's warm hospitality made our experience truly special. His welcoming smile and thoughtful assistance. The rooms were also a haven of relaxation, and waking up to the gentle sea breezes was a dream. Our stay at Hotel Coral Bay, guided by Abdul's hospitality, created lasting memories in this stunning corner of the world.

Our family stay at Coral Bay was absolutely amazing and we would recommend it to everyone visiting Pongwe. The newly build facilities are very comfortable and the views from any of the rooms are just fantastic and difficult to capture in any of the photos. Most outstanding is the staff, in particular Abdul who will make your stay even more pleasant and assist with any request. The food is reasonably priced and the local Pilau rice a must try.

It’s so pieceful, quite ,clean and so beautiful there . It was the last stop in our trip in Zanzibar and were so pleasantly surprised ,it’s a dream.Staff is exceptional,we so enjoyed our stay there. Really want to come back and would recommend my friends to stay in this hotel.
