Crsytal Chateau Room Rental

Good location. Very quiet. Close to the bus, but not too close. Comfortable bedding. Nice hot shower. Good quality towels. I appreciated the fresh flowers on the table. The outside of the property looks pretty

The inside looks clean but doesn’t smell clean. Bathrooms and kitchen are shared. No shampoo or body wash were provided. We had to ask for towels to be provided. We were expected to do our own cleaning. Plenty of annoying signs everywhere that made us feel like we were not trusted. Worst of all, I hated the lack of communication prior to check in, and sure enough, the room was not ready for us when we arrived. No one was expecting us. I had to bang on the door and call on the phone repeatedly. When she finally picked up the phone, she didn’t even ask my name, but rudely said that I had no reservation. I explained that my reservation was confirmed and paid for 2 months in advance, and I even had a text message from her saying that she looked forward to hosting us. Then she proceeded to try to blame on me the fact that she didn’t expect us. She said that I should have called, and she also said that she doesn’t pick up calls from numbers like mine (out of state with a plus sign). It was extremely upsetting and ruined my stay significantly. And then there was the fact that we felt no privacy. Even though we would be gone for 12 hours a day, someone would barge in at 10 pm to take out the trash.

Well maintained clean easy to get to with public transportation

Only the entrance looked good.

The place was too small, the bed wasn’t comfortable. Was too small for a couple. The mattress was too old and made a weird noise. When we arrived on Friday evening .There was nobody to serve. When we called the host They told us that they didn’t post our booking information on time. Instead of checking at 2pm they asked us to go around and come back at 8pm. That’s mean someone is not doing his job. They need to do better. The person who answered the phone was so rude. She told us that she was in a meeting we should go around and come back because there is no staff available for cleaning. One of us had to sleep on the floor because of the uncomfortable bed and small. Please respect the customers . Give us good service for our money. They to upgrade that place. Thank you.

The room is clean and quiet. I am grateful that the host assisted me after a scheduling error.

Very clean. Host seemingly goes out of her way keep the place tidy and hospitable.

I didn’t like the many “please” notes. Even though most did not target me, I felt very wary at times wondering if I was in line or out of line. Aside from the notes, I would definitely recommend this space.
