Fantastic hotel in a beautiful setting. Spotless rooms and communal areas. Very well thought out little hotel.

The style is clean, updated historic, seaside. The beds are so comfortable. Location is excellent, even if you are using public transport, as we were. Handy for the bus and trains. Great breakfast in the arches at Paton Place. Wonderful view of the canal and River Clyde. Completely delightful.

Arriving in the dark (not the fault of the property).

This little hotel is an absolute gem. Quiet, comfortable, and a really authentic sea port experience.

It was hard to locate at night - the directions provided did make sense but it was very dark along the road and I was tired which made it a bit confusing. I called the property and the host was excellent.

This is a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location next to the Clyde canal. There are no staff on site and access is via various key codes provided before you arrive but as long as you appreciate that it doesn’t diminish from the property. Extremely comfortable bed, good sized room and bathroom with a deep bath and shower. Breakfast is provided and is continental style self service but nevertheless generous. Cooking facilities are available or there is a nearby cafe if you prefer. Secure on site parking. It’s an old historic building so expect some rough edges on the decor. We had a minor problem with the heating, we reported it via the phone number provided and were directed immediately to some oil filled radiators as a temporary solution and someone attended within 20 minutes to resolve the problem, which was excellent service.
