Custom House Hotel

The accomadation lovely rooms, nice and clean

Not much around in the way of restaurants, places to eat without having to drive

I don’t recommend this place,inflexible staff and they didn’t review their emails frequently

What a great find! No staff but the instructions for access etc are very clear Beautifully decorated and very clean The shared kitchen is extremely clean and tidy and well equipped The boat yard is lovely to walk around The perfect stay over

The room was spacious and clean, with a view over the canal basin and River Clyde. The breakfast room was fine. The instructions to gain entry were good. Very convenient for access to Glasgow Airport or Loch Lomond region, or further north and west.

The schlep from the station at night is a bit dull. I expect most guests drive. I couldn't get the TV to work.Not a big issue that night. I'm not a fan of hotels that are more like Air B&Bs, with no staff on site (as far as I could tell). But I understand the rationale.

It was beautifully done out, and the breakfast room was a lovely touch.

Lovely location next to the river and very quiet. Rooms were excellent for overnight and everything very clean. The basic breakfast things were a good touch.
