Lovely and clean bright space right in the centre of the town.

Cute property. Very central. Fairly easy to find. Very clean and had all of the basic kitchen things we needed. Shower was very powerful.

It was soooo cold. We turned on the radiators but they kept going off- are they externally controlled? It was Feb and I found it really difficult to relax in the property because of how cold I felt. We hoped it would have been warm and snuggly but we found ourselves wrapped up in bed with two duvets on. There could be some info when booking about parking. I asked the question and received a response, which was great but some people would have relied on the information to make a choice about booking. I stupidly thought we would have a view of the river, because one of the photos shows a picture of the river so I assumed this was out the window. There is in fact no view out of the window. Just other properties and a dark courtyard.

Our children were verbally abused by the neighbour in a threatening and disgusting manner. The neighbour had to be manhandled away from the property. We could hear the neighbour shouting constantly and arguing with his wife through the party walls. Our children were terrified and we were forced to leave the property

Our children were terrified and we were forced to leave the property within 1hr and find alternative accomodation in Bishop Auckland at our own expense. The owners / managers were not interested and did not feel our experience warranted a refund or discount despite the fact the property was unused. Their response and support was disgusting and we would not recommend anybody books this property.

Location was excellent 👍

You had to make up the sofa bed from scratch including putting on quilt cover pillow cases sheets etc unfortunately the mattress topper and quilt stained really badly 😞

Location, shower, kitchen and nice size apartment.

Draughty (doors and windows single glazed and old), electric radiators on individual timers and unable to control. Coldest time of year therefore it was cold in apartment .

The apartment was down a very dark narrow alley which from the road looked like it lead to a scrapyard i.e untidy, rubbish etc. Having gone down the alley and out the other side, a security light did come on (better late than never) but no signs for directions to the apartment door (it turns out it was upstairs). Having reach the door there were two lock boxes and the code on the email didn't open either one - standing there in the cold and rain we tried to contact the owner, initially without any luck. When he eventually replied there was no sense of apology (of course I should know the second lock box was for the cleaner!). He gave us the correct code and from his tone it was our fault for not knowing the email had the wrong code. Not a pleasant experience.
