Apartment in Barnard Castle

Modern, clean, great use of space, fantastic location

Sleeping in the living area has no blinds, therefore very bright in the morning

Very clean, quiet and well placed. Coffee, tea bags and sugar available. Good little kitchen. Very good for a couple but surely too small for 4. Plenty of parking on the street. Castle and Bowes Museum really good. Very friendly town.

First impressions at the entrance were not good. Rather dark passage way with view of very scruffy yard full of weeds!! Couldn’t open bedroom window. No body wash in shower. No cups to fit in Nespresso! Basin pop up plug got stuck.

Location was good

Apartment is so sparse! Not even a freezer box in the fridge. Some Fairy liquid a tea towel and a washing up sponge doesn’t constitute a good stay. The private path to the property was full of weeds. The bedroom is so small and so difficult to get round the bed in the night, added to which I’m disabled. Sofa and cushions were marked. No body wash. Daft sink in the bathroom.

Location was good. Modern apartment and good waterfall shower.

Lack of blinds in the lounge. Sofa bed very uncomfortable. No coffee pods for machine as stated in description. Parking was hard as it was off road parking.
