Apartment in Barnard Castle

Location and facilities where great.

Sink plug in bathroom sink needed unscrewing as it wasn't draining. Shower was great but not enough pressure for the huge rain head, had to use the smaller head but even pressure for that was weak.

Liked the skylights but couldnt find the pole to open them... luckily my friend was tall enough to reach up with the aid of a kitchen stool... heh location is perfect for the town centre and there was loads of parking available nearby

Very well situated in a nice quiet area. Extremely clean.

Water pressure was extremely poor in the bathroom.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. I didn't really do any cooking, but I could have done Smart minimalist decor, no clutter Excellent location just off the main square with many shops, pubs and restaurants a few minutes' walk away You can park on the street outside for free

Irritating and very loud buzzing is audible from the air conditioning unit of the neighbouring restaurant-fortunately they turn it off at night Windows can't be opened The bathroom could be more user-friendly-it would not be difficult to put a hook on the back of the door and some kind of shelf in the shower I could not find a hairdryer The taps are beautiful, but however careful you are, they will squirt water at you

Property was modern in appearance with smart TVs in the living space and bedroom.

The overall cleanliness was appalling. Opened the front door to be greeted by left over wine and beer bottled from previous guests. Dirty washing still in the wash basket too. I lost count of the amount of hairs I found in both the bed and shower. The bed sheets themselves were stained and didn’t smell fresh at all. I slept on the sofa with a towel over me (that I bought with me from home) as a blanket.
