We originally booked an apartment with a kitchen, based on photos that appeared bright, clean, and tidy. Upon check-in, we were taken to a basement unit that was dark, damp, and not clean. The reality did not match the photos on the website at all. We contacted the staff immediately to request a room change. They informed us that no rooms of the same standard were available and offered us a downgrade to a room without a kitchen. We accepted this offer and were moved to another basement room in the hotel. While the first impression of this room was slightly better, we discovered several serious issues that forced us to leave early the next morning: 1. Unusual Layout: There was no room number on the door, and the room contained a locked storage area for hotel cleaning supplies. 2. Poor Hygiene: The bed linens were visibly unclean and caused severe itching all over our bodies. We could not sleep on the beds at all and had to rest on the sofa for the entire night. 3. Maintenance Issues: Several light fixtures were not working, and there were severe scratches on the wooden floors, making the room look terrible. 4. Lack of Natural Light: There were not enough windows. The living room had no windows at all, making it feel like living in a prison.
