The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout, and beautifully furnished. The beds are very comfortable with extra warm throws for cold nights. We made full use of the log burner on what was a windy, chilly week-end and the whole cottage was warm and cosy. This property is slightly more expensive than similar cottages in Simpson Street, but it's worth it for the 2 bathrooms - an extra upstairs bathroom is very helpful for nocturnal trips to the loo!

"Excellent."

Clean throughout. Comfortable bedrooms and en suites. Nice large living/dining area.

Small things - We tend to cook at home and found just one oven tray insufficient. Pan sizes small, medium, large required. Sets of glasses incomplete. No hanging space in second bedroom.

An amazing cottage - has all you need for a few days away. All the amenities you would ever need. Vikki was really informative about the local area and a great host. She accommodated an early check-in for us due to a flight change with no issues.

"Beautiful cottage on a spectacular stretch of coast"

Beautiful cottage with a supremely comfortable bed. The huge upstairs bedroom with en-suite bathroom was very calm and relaxing. Great kitchen and living area meant we could enjoy meals at home as well as the lovely food options nearby. The location is ideal - beach is 3 minutes walk away and the house is equidistant between Tynemouth and Whitley Bay, each with good bars, beaches and independent shops. Vikki was a most welcoming host, giving good recommendations and a lovely welcome pack

"Great holiday home"

Property offers two good sized bedrooms and decent living space. The kitchen has everything you need for a stay. I like the fact that you can park your car close to the property in a residents parking space. Showers worked well with really nice soap/shampoo provided. Nice to be given milk,juice,fudge as welcome gifts. Nice to see some coffee pods for the machine. Vikki the host was lovely and very accommodating. Great location for this part of the coast and Newcastle

Nothing really. I found the bed a little firm but that is personal taste
