GBLovely quiet rural location,nice little cottage with everything you might need and nice goodies left for us by the owners.
GBGBLoved the little touches - flowers, love hearts on the bed and lovely hand and body wash. Sam and Stefan were such lovely, welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly to us, making us feel at home. Super location as we were attending a wedding at the castle - 5 minute walk!
No TV - Not a huge deal, good to allow you to switch off but would have been nice to watch BBC Breakfast in the morning with a cuppa!
GBGBVery well presented, clean & spacious bright rooms. Modern interior with traditional furnishings, The location was great just a 30min drive to Edinburgh centre which makes a nice distance to have a city trip but with a relaxed country stay. Would highly recommend!

GBAbsolutely fantastic cottage for a relaxing break. The cottage itself is a good size, the kitchen offers everything you need and the bedroom is really comfy. The seating area at the bedroom window is lovely. Our favourite spot was the bench outside the front door, looking out at the castle, chickens wondering around. It’s just amazing! The lovely wee touches from the hosts just made the place - a wee jar of sweets, fresh milk in the fridge and a chance to learn about the history of the cottage. Whilst sitting in the idyllic countryside it’s hard to believe you can be on the Edinburgh bypass in 10 minutes. We will definitely return.
