GBThis cottage is part of collection of derelict buildings which are working progress - the owners have done it up to a great, cosy standard. It was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. And the view over to the castle from the front stable door was truly gorgeous. Great for walks and a good base to get to Edinburgh. So easy to drive to Gorebridge train station - completely hassle-free experience to get to the City in under 30 minutes. We really got to experience the best of both country and city in one wonderful weekend.
No doggies allowed ... and it's a dog walking paradise!
