Baobab Africa Lodge Zanzibar

Everything was wonderful. An incredibly relaxing place to stay but plenty to do if you wanted to stay active. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The decor and situation of the hotel is perfect. A 5 minute walk from the beach. Amazing cocktails. On our last night the staff decorated our dinner table with a huge heart of flowers- it was beautiful and they had put so much time and effort into it. Would recommend without hesitation for an amazing stay.

We stayed on October, there was not many guests we could relax and enjoyed everything. Room was clean , amazing food, friendly staff.

An oasis in the African countryside. Perfection and away from the hustle and bustle of commercial resorts. Omar was an amazing host who organised first class trips for our family.

Africa Baobab Lodge is a beautiful new hotel in Mtende Beach that was built amongst Baobab Trees which have history dating back to 900 year old trees. The hotel looks beautiful like a resort and the staff is very kind and welcoming. Their restaurant was built on top/inside of a Baobab Tree and has such a beautiful view of the property and surrounding area. The food was very good as well.

It is a bit rustic although the accommodations are better than subpar it does seem to have a rustic vibe. Hotel staff have to come in and spray your room with repellent spray to keep mosquitos and bugs out during your stay.

Everything, the pool, the room, the relaxed vibe, the massage and the service.

Everything was fantastic

If you want to experience Africa and yet not giving up alle the luxury we have in European countries, this is the place to be. The lodge is small & cosy allowing the building up of a relationship with the owners and/or the local staff.

Whenever you travel to Africa, there is for sure something that is not as perfect as you would get it in Europe. Forget about that. If something does not work properly, Eric and Sophie take care about it. They and the entire staff are helpful, friendly and not formal. In this lodge there is nothing to worry about. The most important thing that was a bit sad is the vacation that has come to an end ;-)

This hotel exceeded our expectations so much!! all the staff is amazing and the owners as well, they are all the time around and they are cheerful and talkative. The hotel is super close to the beach and the vibes are chilled and relaxing. The food is amazing and the breakfast is very varied, the room was super clean as well as the whole installations. The people working there are super friendly and helpful, we definitely want to come back!! thank you so much!!!
