The structure

No day light in the property. No kettle, no kitchen as shown in pictures. Spiderweb on the ceiling. Washing machine and dryer outside the front door of the room, not enough ventilation. Extremely hot. Television not set to watch.

All’arrivo il 28.12.25 ci siamo ritrovati in una cantina, piano sottostrada senza finestre. La “camera” non era pronta, il letto non era fatto ed era coperto da un coprimaterasso sporco e bucato. Nel lavello c’erano stoviglie sporche. Nessuno era presente e pur telefonando non si è potuto parlare con il proprietario ma solo con una probabile addetta alle pulizie che ha detto che sarebbe venuta solo il giorno dopo, come poi è stato. Sempre telefonicamente siamo stati dirottati nella seconda “camera”, dove erano depositate 3 borse apparentemente piene di biancheria . In questa seconda camera il letto era pronto ma mancava il fornello nell’angolo cottura e non c’erano le luci sui comodini. Nessuna finestra o apertura. Il 29 ci traferiamo nella camera che avevamo prenotato. Le dotazioni sono irrisorie, l’illuminazione è scarsa e non si può spegnere dal letto. Mancano comodini e relative luci, phon, tostapane, tovaglia .Un solo rotolo di carta igienica che non viene rifornita nemmeno chiedendolo. Manca l’acqua calda nell’angolo cottura, la porta del bagno non si chiude se non con notevoli sforzi. Le porte delle camere sonio a vetri, con fastidioso ingresso di luce dalle scale, siamo infatti stati svegliati alle 3 di notte dall’arrivo dei vicini. La chiave del portone di ingresso non viene consegnata, va lasciata nella keybox di uso comune, se un occupante se la dimentica l’altra camera diventa inaccessibile. La presa d’aria a due metri di altezza provoca ingresso di luce e aria fredda dalla strada per tutta la notte e non può essere chiusa. L’umidità regna nella “stanza”. Pessima esperienza.

Pobyt z powodu kwatery był tragiczny. Totalnie błędnie podany adres,stracony czas na odnalezienie kwatery,mieszkanie w suterenie, nie wentylowane, brak dopływu świeżego powietrza. Do tej pory nie spotkałam tak niekomfortowych warunków w takiej cenie.Kruszące się kawałki tynku spadające na łóżko. Niesprawny internet brak możliwości jakiegokolwiek kontaktu. Kwatera nie powinna być proponowana do zamieszkania. W związku z powyższym proszę o zwrot poniesionych kosztów.

The bed was comfortable and the location was great

The internet didn't always work, the bathroom sink got blocked, for cooking you have a kettle, a toaster (outside the room) and a microwave. The microwave didn't work. Communication wasn't the greatest. You did get a fridge but no milk, not even a little to start. No brochures or maps of the area, no tips as to what to do

The room was very spacious and allowed us to stay comfortably for the days we were staying here. The bed was extra large and comfortable, and the additional sofa was a bonus. Wi-Fi strength was fantastic and allowed us to work directly from the room, with no problems.

As already clear from the photos on Booking.com, the room is a basement room. The two windows available are too high up to be closed at will, particularly disturbing throughout the night as people and vehicles, including trucks, keep passing by at all hours. Having double or triple glazed windows that one could close would certainly make the stay better. Natural light is very limited inside, with one window facing a narrow lane being the only way to realise whether it's day or night outside as the window facing St Ursula Street seems obstructed by the current works in progress. It's fine if you're a heavy sleeper and all you have to do is sleep at night and wander the islands, perhaps a bit less if one has to spend some hours of the day inside the actual room. Having said this, the room is very spacious. If the owners could solve the noise and lack of natural light issues, this room would be perfect.

The location and the old world feeling are excellent.

The alley on which the room is located was not easy to fund.

Got there and the address was wrong, had to walk with my bags in the heat. Then inside after sweating and walking the shower didn't work, this place is not up to standard. I would not recommend it
