Beds are personal but I found this one incredibly uncomfortable. The sofa needs updating as this is not comfortable either. We came home a day early because of this. The garden needed a good tiding up so you make the most of the 'Garden views' that that described in the advertisement for this property. Dog friendly to a point but garden not fully enclosed so for us (again personally) not suitable. Shame as beautiful little Lodge with fantastic owners just needs a bit more TLC and thinking through.

Everything, lovely and peaceful, perfect facility’s for what we were after. Very warm and welcoming feeling inside the lodge. Really liked having the biofuel burner as well, as someone who has a log burner at home, the biofuel was much easier and cleaner. Felt very private and secluded. Was actually a lovely touch not having a tv, was nice to just put on some music and be able to relax and chat.

Not at all, would definitely recommend to others and return again.

Very cosy and beautifully decorated little lodge. Comfy bed & gorgeous little fire place. Open fields for dog walks just at the end of the drive & really responsive hosts next door.

A few issues - the hob display is faulty so you can’t see what temp you have the rings on. We couldn’t get the hot water to stay hot for more than a few minutes - but I suspect there was a solution for this had we asked the hosts.

Very cosy with lots of lovely homely touches such as books, games, tea & coffee, condiments etc! The log fire was lovely too!
