Cleveland with Letsstay York

Location was an easy 15 minutes from the city centre.

Everything was perfect.

Veryyy clean and luxurious bnb. Super comfortable and enjoyable stay. 20 mins walk from the city centre. Very helpful and friend host!

The shower is a bit tricky to adjust the temperature lol

Beautiful property with a super location for walking to the city centre. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

The only thing we didn’t like is that we hadn’t booked for longer.

The property was very clean and welcoming. There was milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and sugar provided. Although there is a keypad to gain entry, a key fob is also provided, which is helpful for those of us with unreliable memories! One highlight for me, was the amazing bathroom with a huge walk in shower. The position of the shower controls means that you can turn it on and adjust the temperature without actually having to get wet. The other highlight was the incredibly comfy beds. Our daughter and I were in York so that she could run in the marathon. The weather was foul for most of the run, and it was great for her to come back to a lovely hot shower, soft towels, a warm house and last of all, a really cosy, comfortable night's sleep. It was a relief for me, to have a straightforward tv. It had Netflix etc, but it also had all the normal channels and a channel guide available without having to sign in. The area is very quiet, despite being a short walk from the station. We loved the obvious care and attention that the owners had put into the renovations. It was a real labour of love.... We would recommend this property if you want a quiet, spotless, super comfy break.

The house has been renovated to a high and well designed standard, keeping original features which were beautiful. The house was very clean and in a great location. The heating had been on when we arrived. Check in was very easy and the host kept in touch, even adding little gifts on arrival. We had a lovely stay in the home.

Very minor but I found the shower didn’t quite get hot enough. It could be that I just didn’t work out how to use it properly.

Beautiful house and very helpful owner who brought us a high chair and quickly resolved our keysafe entry. House maintained to an excellent standard. A very comfortable stay with an amazing bathroom and super comfortable beds. Highly recommended and even though it was narrow street parking, the electronic online permit worked well.

Not in any a criticism but an observation. We visited with a 13 month old. The high step down from the dinning area to the kitchen was something we had to be 100% on top of with our walking toddler. The sliding door was difficult to keep opening and closing for safety. The property is ideal for adults or a family with older children. The owner accommodated us completely with our grandson needs ( travel cot, high chair)but just to be aware of this if you are visiting with a very young walking child.

The house was fantastic, very comfortable and in a great location.
