SANTINIKETAN RETREAT, Bolpur

It had a lawn with badminton court, swimming pool and boul singer singing in the evening. You can even ask to have bonfire or grilled food if you want.

There was no variation in the breakfast. The food bill was messed up, sometime items were double counted. Double cross your food bill, pay upfront if you can.

Property quite big

The food and the breakfast . No choice at all in breakfast. There was no fruit as they forgot previous night to order, even though watermelon was in their store but that was for Holi which was 2 days later. Breakfast timing from 8-10 but they serve only after 8.45. So better be careful. Too much of salt on all food. Had informed twice and even threw veg pakoda out. Afternoon lunch was bad. Overall it’s not value for the hefty amount being paid.pathetic

I like everything about the hotel

The property is beautiful and calm. You will enjoy a calm and peaceful time by just staying in the hotel too. They also organise baul sangeet every Saturday and it was a lovely surprise. The food in the restaurant is also very delicious.

The restaurant is slow. Takes time to prepare food. Though they prepare it fresh, but that takes a good 30-40 minutes of waiting, even after placing the orders early in the morning.

Very friendly ambience.

A table would be nice in such a big room...during eating(room service), I had a bit of difficulty.

Breakfast options were very limited. Room management was not good. Room did not have the view as advertised. Room didn't have proper seating arrangements. TV was very small and very far from bed.

The host was amazing and helpful, the entire staff was welcoming, food and ambiance was top notch! Plus the cleanliness and the garden maintenance. Those flowers made me smile

Nothing as such but it would be great if u provide a good quality shampoo and body wash
