Perfect location for access to castle, garden, shops, Barter Books etc just a short walk away. Picked up breakfast at local bakery, Sunday lunch at the Market Tavern on the same street, few minutes walk to the Dirty Bottles for cocktails, fab meal at Thai restaurant across the road etc The host was also very kind allowing a later checkout as the clock change happened on our visit! Nice not to have to get up an extra hour early on a weekend break! Much appreciated.

Parking was easy for unloading etc but needed to move car within the time limit. However, if you want a good central location then moving the car to a nearby car park is a reasonable - and expected/planned for - compromise! Parking discs available for £1 at the Market Tavern a few doors away from accommodation.

View not great and on second floor. No lock on bathroom door.

The location was fantastic, easily walkable to the centre and local attractions.

While the flat was mostly clean, the quality of facilities wasn't great - having to wait an hour to get hot water was a problem. The walls and floors were clearly very thin because we could hear snoring through the night from surrounding flats. It also smelled of smoke.

No central heating / no hot water to wash hands / washing up unless the boiler was switched on for an hour.

Die Lage war toll und eigentlich auch die Ausstattung.

Die Wohnung war in vielen Bereichen nicht sauber und nicht komfortabel. Die Couch müsste dringend ausgetauscht werden und die Matratzen auch. Die Küche war sehr dreckig und es stand nur ein Geschirrhandtuch zur Verfügung welches so neu war, dass es kein Wasser aufgenommen hat. Die Kaffeemaschine hatte bereits Schimmel und einen Fettfilm. Die Wohnung war sehr kalt und ließ sich nicht aufheizen. Wir haben also gefroren im Wohnzimmer und im Badezimmer. Die elektronische Heizung in den Schlafzimmern funktionierte aber machte kontinuierlich Geräusche und musste nachts deswegen komplett ausgeschaltet werden.

Cleanliness - hair found in the cutlery draw and dust/cobwebs throughout in general. Perhaps the apartment hadn't been lived in over the winter? Otherwise fine. Tired furniture and beds not comfortable to our tastes. The apartment needs some updating
