Ultra Luxury Beach Penthouse

Location right on sea front with a large balcony. Host responded to queries promptly.

The 2 sofa beds were not made up and had only stained duvets and pillows without covers in the apartment for them. We asked for clean bed linen but were told staff were not available to deliver then, but we would be reimbursed if we went out and purchased some, which we couldn't do. There were towels, some of which were stained. There are no tea towels and the crockery, mugs and glasses were a mishmash with no matching sets. The table sat 4 and there were only 4 dining chairs. The balcony had a great view but was very poorly furnished, eg a piece of untidy artificial grass and a dead Christmas tree in one pot! We expected more from a luxury apartment.

- The exterior of the building was disappointing, with visible stains on the walls. - Beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were not fluffy or high-quality. - The freezer was in bad need of defrosting. - No bath mats in the showers, making the floors very slippery and unsafe. - Limited number of mugs for hot drinks, insufficient for a group. - Bedroom blinds were ineffective, allowing too much light in the mornings. - The balcony, although a nice feature, was not inviting.

Loved the location, the apartments were stunning and comfortable with beautiful views. Would definitely stay again it was the perfect little getaway

There were 8 children and 7 adults in our group and we didn't feel there was enough kitchen utensils knives forks and teaspoons particularly but we made it work.

The space for the family was good and the location. The hosts were available when we had queries and they provided some refreshments for breakfast which was nice.

One of the beds was broken, my Mum fell onto the floor when the slats fell out - the headboard was broken from the side of the bed, and when we lifted the bed to sort the slats there was loads of dirt and dust - I contacted the host and they said they knew it was broken because the cleaner had mentioned it, but we were not told to be careful or there wasn’t another bed provided instead. One of us had to sleep on the sofa. We were even told that they would sort it after we leave and if we could take the mattress into the living room to sleep on the floor - not ideal. The shower in the en suite wasn’t working - the temperature could not change and was always scalding hot and could have caused an accident with small children in the apartment too. The iron was not provided, even though we were told that there would be one.

The location was fantastic

Location is perfect, just by the sea. It’s spacious and well lit. Easy parking on the street and in the back. Complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch

It’s not well maintained it starting to show - broken coffee machine, missing blinds, etc. The kitchen is poorly equipped - there was not enough glasses, plates, mugs, cutlery for 9 people. Almost no knives, pots, etc. On the top of it we had to wash every single dishes when we arrived as everything was dirty. Also there was broken glass in the dishwasher.

I like the complementary gifts, tea, cereals, wine, bottles of water. Clean bedding toiletries, towels staff and very friendly to communicate with. Like extra bits foil bin bags etc. rooms are really nice and very spacious. Been a couple of times now and will also be coming back

Annoying it doesn't have enough kitchen utensils. No spatula to fry an egg for example

The cutlery (forks and teaspoons) were down to 3 of each only. Also there are only 3 chairs for the glass indoor dining table. (This was fine for us as we were only 3 but suggest additional be provided)

The place was clean, well decorated.
