Very unique and quirky place to stay! Great location to explore South Wales coastline.

Did not have restaurant on site for evening dining, and even though the furnishings were unusual, some were impractical for use.

This location was so quiet and peaceful, the room was stunning with all the traditional brick work. There was a brilliant fan in the room as it was a warm weekend. The honesty bar was great to have and I really enjoyed the overall laid back atmosphere.

We’d have love to have had the option to have a proper breakfast on site. I do appreciate that they may not have the facilities or capacity to do that but it was the only thing lacking.

It’s charming and quaint in Gileston. Like stepping back in time.

Our cottage was cozy but the small details were missing..example the coffee machine was dirty . The carpets on the floor were very dusty AND when I returned to my room after dinner OUR door was unlocked and WIDE OPEN!! We reported it to the management but had no answer as to why?? Very un-nerving!

Excellent adaptation of the cheese house, maintaining its charm and many original features. Cosy sitting room, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and two shower rooms.
