The room was nice and the staff was the best

It was a newly renovated property, right next to the Kedar Ghat and is very accessible and clean. The staffs really helpful, organised and took us around the city which made our stay very chill and comfy

A great hotel for an authentic Varanasi experience! Excellent location- right next to the ghats, making it an ideal base for exploring the city and experiencing the rituals along the Ganges. The service was exceptional, with staff attentive to every detail, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varanasi!

The queen room we initially stayed in didn’t have windows, but the next day we upgraded ourselves to a king room, which featured a lovely balcony. While it didn’t offer a view of the Ganga, it was still a pleasant and comfortable space.

Loved my stay at Captain Villa Heritage House. When you go to a different city for work or a leisure trip I think what makes you feel most comfortable is the people you meet there and how they behave with you… The staff at Captain Villa is very courteous and also professional at the same time. I would specifically want to mention the name of one guy who became our Friend, Philosopher and Guide… “Anshul Gupta.” Anshul is a Gem. I told him that he is the main Highlight and Shining light of this Property. He had some personal commitments but he still planned our activities and was with us throughout our stay in Banaras. He became a friend.. it’s difficult not to like Anshul especially because he doesn’t pretend to be nice but he genuinely is a very nice person. Such a positive and energetic soul. He is also very professional at the same time… 10 Stars to the Property and 100 stars to Anshul. We did get all the required facilities at the hotel but the most important thing was it felt like Home… The place is very close to the Ghat so it’s practically like you are living on a Ghat. Highly recommended if you want an authentic Banarasi experience.

The personnel were very responsive and delicate. Choki ghat is in 3 min from the hotel. Hot water is available for 24 hours. Overall it's quite clean and comfortable room for this area.

Unstable Wifi, and some plumbing is poorly installed.
