Charming Studio in Reykajvik

Location was great

It gets very hot in there. The bathroom is also very cramped.

Not a lot apart from the good location just a shame we couldn’t go out because we couldn’t lock the door.

Couldn’t open the door on arrival. Key would not work in the lock. Had to get a neighbour to let us in. Then once in couldn’t lock the door so therefore couldn’t leave the property.

Literal steps from the Rainbow Road, this location was phenominal. We could just step out the door and cruise the shops and restaurants and bars. Kronan being nearly as close in the other direction made getting groceries so easy so we could save money by eating in..

Being on the first floor with drapes over the floor-ceiling windows was a bit awkward at first but worked out just fine. The bathroom is pretty tiny, and the water smelled bad (like old school well water in the US), but it didn't have much of an impact on our experience. The comfy sofa bed and big tv were a great treat for my kids after a week in a camper!

Le manque de place pour les jambes sur les WC Le fait d’être en vitrine. Le studio est situé en pied d’immeuble et occupe une cellule qui pourrait être commerciale vous obligeant à tirer les rideaux pour ne pas être vu des piétons. Absence de filtre occultant sur les vitres Vitres demanderaient à être nettoyées L’odeur de friture (des bouches d’aéaration des restaurants alentours) quand on ouvre le seul et unique ouvrant du studio. Le terme “Charming studio” pourrait etre plutôt remplacé par “practical and central studio”

Location for breakfast was good

Too much noise and were not advised that we have to wear earplugs throughout the night. Noise level not bearable. Painful for the ears. No microwave. Not enough hooks to hang your clothes. No facility to hang wet clothes or towels. Though location was good but being in front of a parking lot and being garbage collection is terrible. Cleaning not even once when your stay is longer then 4 days is not acceptable despite after request it was accepted. Request ought not to be requested. Automatic emails despite agreeing to delayed checkout ought not to be an excuse.
