The Airfield Happy Apartment

Lovely comfortable apartment. Clean apartment, bed comfortable. Lot going on outside with the Sandtoft aerodrome and cafe downstairs but wasn't disturbing and provided interest.

Hot water in short supply once one person had had a shower. Not a combi boiler. Towels provided were small for a one week stay. Found Induction hob tricky to use if cooking in.

I chose to stay here because of the photos and wasn't disappointed. Every room is massive, the bedroom itself could be a studio apartment. It's tastefully decorated and furnished. The bed and settee really comfortable. It's a bit of a novelty to watch the planes taking off and landing right outside your window. When the windows are closed there's hardly any noise from them. From tea time onwards it's extremely quiet, bring a decent torch with you and you'll see loads of rabbits out on the grass. Tons of storage space too. The heating worked well along with the shower. The TV was easy to unhook off the wall to put my fire stick in to watch football. The place is very secure and up just one flight of steps with parking right outside so you can see your car easy from inside. I would definitely recommend just to have a nice comfortable break. There's also a freezer been added.

The apartment is so spacious! By far the cleanest place we have ever stayed! Total hidden gem and exceptional value for money! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Theres nothing around the apartment. We booked for a wedding reception at the reindeer inn a mile away.
