Splendid House Victoria Gozo

The bed was nice and comfortable with all the needed amenities (charging port, wardrobe, drawers and a nice ensuite with a great shower) The balcony was great to look out during the evening and the location was perfectly central and easy to find.Kitchen was nice to have if you plan on making your own food and I got to chat to other people staying there as well .Use of hairdryer and iron was nice as well overall would recommend as it gets everything you need and the price is very reasonable.

I had to put a blanket up against the balcony because of the wind and the traffic was pretty loud at night (but take into account it was raining at the time and January) would have loved if there was a bit of oil,salt and little things in the kitchen and just for me I couldn't figure out how to use the cooker fully

Nice traditional style home, with countryside views; with adorable natural stone walls, the staircase, wooden elements. You can enjoy the scent fresh greenery, hear church bells, chicken - very soothing and relaxing after the stressful big city life ( in my case). Just by the old town of the island capital Victoria.

We only stayed for one night for a few hours, check in was super easy and checkout as well. Good sized room. Showering a bit tricky getting the water pump going so sometimes no water pressure but we were not bothered. Room clean and smelt of fresh laundry when we entered. It was great for our short stay.

Very comfortable, very clean, good communication. No issues whatsoever. I would Highly recommended it for others to book.

Can't beat the location! It is a 3 min walk to a small, cute square with cafés and a church etc. Perfect for morning coffee in the sun! I was in room 1, which had a small balcony - it was very nice to be able to get fresh air, however, it was very noisy from cars all day and night even with the doors closed, so I had to sleep with earplugs but it couldn't keep the noise out. If you're a light sleeper, I would request another room that doesn't face the street. The view from the balcony was only of the street so you won't miss out on a view by choosing another room. Also, there's a roof top terrace, which I didn't discover until my check-out but it would be a nice place to enjoy the sun.

The street was very noisy and the balcony doors didn't keep the noise out (room 1). The wifi didn't work in the kitchen so I had to use my phone as a hotspot for work, since I didn't have a table in my room so I sat at the table in the kitchen.

A short walk to St George's piazza and lots of restaurants. Easy access to bus terminal and Citadel. Very atmospheric area in the historic part of Victoria.

Room 1 is on the street and noisy. Both room & bathroom very small. Showerhead attachment loose. Nowhere to hang towels. Could have supplied a rack for the balcony . Other rooms (2&3) have garden outlook. Perhaps worthwhile to check other booking platforms as maybe cheaper. Not all power points in kitchen work. Poorly supplied with cooking utensils.

Nice size room, clean and modern bedroom and bathroom, nice with veranda and double glazing, had both 3 pin and European electric sockets.

Bit of a mix up to get in, if you don't have whatsapp.

Really lovely little place to stay in fantastic location, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The communal kitchen is a bonus, we didn't use this but had we have been staying longer we definitely would have. Highly recommend.
