Splendid House Victoria Gozo

Absolutely beautiful house in a great quiet area. Really nice to have a kitchen. Hosts were responsive over Whatsapp.

Wifi can be a bit weak at times. Pans in the kitchen should probably be replaced soon.

The room was a wonderful size and had a small balcony with pretty views over the city. The communal kitchen on the main floor was well supplied with pots and pans and cooking equipment and was very clean.

We should have looked at the property more carefully before booking as there were 40 steps to the room we were given on the top floor. I would suggest you ask for a room on a lower floor. It was difficult to obtain any hot water from the shower or the sink. There was no towel rack. Property policy is that NO bathmat OR hand towels are provided. There was a kettle in the room but NO mugs, tea bags or instant coffee to make anything! Having to go up and down each time was a real nuisance as the only bathroom was in our room 40 steps one way away! There was dust on the bathroom door and so much on the communal couch I wouldn't want to sit on it!

Very central. 5 Minutes to the bus terminal. Clean room. Stefan is very helpful and friendly. He answered always quickly. Room equipment sufficient.

Nice place to stay, lovely atmosphere

The room was really nice, cleand and spacious with own balcony. Shower was really good. There was communal kitchen that had everything you could think of. Location was superb, close to everything (bus station, sights, shopping).

Bad communication No mattress protection No cleaning product toilet ( necessary if there is no cleaning service) Airco difficult to handle, nobody to explain how it works. Traffic noise !

Room was OK except for the air conditioner. It was so noisy that we had no option but to return home for the night. I know exactly what was wrong with the airconditioner but it was far too high to clean the filter. I informed the owner/his representative of the problem but he did not even acknowledge receipt of my message let alone apologise for the grave inconvenience. Tt was like throwing money down the drain. Hope nobody else will rent this apartment before the issue is solved.
