Grandinn Luxury apartment in Downtown Reykjavík

Very clean, lots of amenities and good location.

Didn’t have a kettle

The apartment was modern, very clean and comfortable. Instruction from host how to get there were clear and host was checking if we have everything we need which was very kind. The kitchen had all stuffs required for cooking or even baking. It is close to the city centre, restaurants, shops, bus stop and lovely bakery/coffee shop (2mins). It’s a quiet area which was amazing as we could properly rest.

There is no kettle and would be lovely to have it at the winter Apartment is on the ground floor but located around entrances to other buildings so you may see strangers next to your window if you do not have curtains Door to the building opens automatically but please note that after 10PM you need to use small key chain in order to open them (would be lovely to know that before)

Nice clean and new

Everything about the apartment was amazing and the host went above and beyond to advise us etc. It felt like home away from home.

We were left out in the street for 3 hours at midnight because the host forgot to give us a key to open the outside door. She also turned her phone off, so we couldn't contact her at all. Luckily, one guy passed by and i asked him. He happened to know the only person who was occupying another apartment in the building, so they opened the door for us. Hadn't it been for this guy, we would have spent the night in the frozen islandic streets. Also, host didn't provide coffee capsules and detergent (she told me they offer it) and told me they would put it again after our check out. That was no use for us. Last but not least, all kitchen utensils were really dirty. I would never repeat.

Modern, secured, clean, spacious and close to Reykjavik harbor, restaurants, and shops. Host was nice & responsive. Washing machine & dryer in unit (although we did not use, it was nice to have.) Kitchen was clean and equipped. I would have rated a 9 if some issues corrected.

TV did not work (WiFi issue?) although WiFi worked for our devices. Shower gel & shampoo bottles empty and only 1 face towel provided. No hand towels (but bath towels provided). No private parking.

Brand new apartment with excellent amenities. Tastefully designed, easy check in and check out, very comfortable bed and pillows, excellent spacious shower, very quiet, very close to center (10 minute walk). You will find a nice bakery close by and a bonus supermarket. Host made some great recommendations, as well. The construction near by is in the final stages so we didn't hear anything during our stay. Oh and just press the "open" sign to open the front door in case you are like me and didn't think right away to push it because it is not shaped as a button 😅
