Grandinn Luxury apartment in Downtown Reykjavík

There are many restaurants and supermarkets around this area, which is very convenient. A little bit off from Downtown Reykjavik.

The liquid detergent for the washing machine ran out. We ended up with washing our clothing without detergent.

A short walk outside of city centre, and very easy for buses and supermarket. The superb apartment is comfortable, warm and well equipped with everything in excellent working order. I arrived on an early flight and Ragnhildur was very helpful concerning my check in. All communication in the app was rapid and crystal clear.

At this time there was a bit of construction work going in the next building, which is not at all the fault of Ragnhildur. The workmen there were generally considerate, so there was only some infrequent noise during the daytime.

Apartment is new so super clean , location is really good, though approach has construction work going on.

Place is quite small for 3 people, best suited for 2 or less, host could be more responsive in communication, kitchen was not fully equipped

The apartment was very good, it felt like at home for my wife and I. The bed was good, I think it was medium/hard mattress We enjoyed watching a movie on the tv on the sofa after we went out for dinner. Kitchen appliances are pretty straight forward and all was there to make food(which we did not do) Just remember that the microwave is also the oven :) Wi-Fi connection was outstanding. Bathroom was nice and well thought out. It should be mentioned that the bedroom is on opposite of the living room and there are open entrances on each side to access the bedroom it might bother some people but it did not do that for us. There are places to eat and shop groceries 5 minutes away. Overall a nice comfy stay in the heart of Reykjavik

Well if I had to "nit-pick" then it would have been nice to have a kettle to boil water for tea, but we boiled water with a pot but you could also I think use the coffee machine to have hot water. Like I said : If I had to "nit-pick" I really tried to find dust somewhere and after a lot of finger rubbing on different places I found a very very light dust on the mirror cabin in the bathroom over the sink......so the place is very very clean.......keep it up team :)

The place was beautiful, clean, modern and in a great location, walking distance to many the harbour, many restaurants and shops in Reykjavik. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. I would recommend the place and definitely stay again!

This building is not fully renovated and reeks of formaldehyde. Guests staying here would essentially become human air purifiers, posing a significant health risk! Additionally, there is no parking available, making it extremely difficult to find the accommodation without any guidance or signs, which is highly inconvenient! Furthermore, after check-out, they demand fines for various reasons. Out of the entire trip to Iceland, this place had the only bed that was impossible to sleep in and was extremely uncomfortable. 🤮
