Size of room. But the setting the grounds the view the waterfall was majical the ambience and the manager and his wife were speciel people

It was so hard to leave! I stayed in Sugarbush cabin, a double bed in front of a little lake, perfect for me. Very clean, easy compost toilet, incredible view. Waterfall farm is large and has bigger normal cottages but i wanted this experience. The lemon, orange, fig trees are gree , the rock formationsl, river, tidal pool and waterfall make this a special place. Ponies, peacocks, birds abound. Heard the baboons. Aaron, Miriam and Henry were great hosts, friendly, flexible. I stayed hours after checkout at the waterfall. Wifi was strong enough for a work video call in certain places of the farm. I also had phone signal in others. I wish I could stay longer!

The waterfallfarm is a truly magical place! We loved the proximity to the waterfall and the option of hiking trails starting from the farm. The cottage was really cute and clean! There are friendly animals (horses, peacocks, cats, dogs, and turtles) on the farm that stop by every now and then to say hi. We had the best time!

This place is truly amazing if you are looking for a getaway to escape the concrete jungle and the stresses that go along with it. The peace and serenity that this setting offers is something special. The accommodation, although not the most modern, was clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that my kids could roam freely and explore to their hearts content. We were blown away by the hike to the majestic waterfall, going to the chicken coop and getting some eggs and the amazing night sky filled with millions of stars. Not to mention all the fruit trees that are there for the picking (apples, mango's, figs, lemons, nartjies, pears).

I think the accommodation could be upgraded somewhat. It was extremely hot during our visit end January and although floor standing fans were provided, an aircon in the lounge (at least) would have provided some relief from the heat. I would prefer that the passage and bedrooms have tiled floors instead of being carpeted, which I feel is not very hygienic in this setting. More shading could be provided, either by trees or a pergola, over the pool area. The bathrooms need an upgrade.

Breathtaking

A truly lovely team running this beautiful sanctuary. A chance to connect with the delights of the surrounding Cederberg while disconnecting from all the unnecessary clutter. If wild swimming, trails and climbing are your jam this is your place.

Having to leave...hope to return very soon.

Truly a special place to be present and soak up the sunshine! Will be back soon.
