Sotogrande Hotel and Convention Center Batangas

Me and the kids had a great and comfy stay. 😍 they really love the bath tub and the breakfast buffet. 😊 comfortable beds and good linens. All in all a good stay!

I like everything about this hotel, first time to do this staycation with my fiance and its indeed superb and sulit. Babalik balikan mo ulit tong hotel na to 😇 Kudos to them ☺️

You literally get what you pay for. It's a brand new hotel, but still a budget hotel. The staff whilst are lovely and friendly are so clueless as to what is going on. You walk into a grand entrance with an automated grand piano then it's all downhill from there. There are no credit card facilities, and then are empty show rooms just doing nothing. Presumably waiting to get fitted. To get to the pool, you need to walk through the dining area, ask the wait staff for beach towels and then when your finished your swim, you walk back though the dining room. It's the weirdest set up! The room is nice enough, however also a weird setup in the bathroom. The bath shower had no shower curtain. Then the stand alone shower glass panels were much shorter than the shower head so water just went everywhere. The floor in the rooms was absolutely filthy. It was clearly not cleaned properly post th construction as the soles of your feet ended up black. It's not a quality build at all. Everything looks rushed or half finished, including the gym. You walk in, aircon is off and half of it has no proper flooring. The food was below par. We ordered several dishes and to be told they weren't available and th dishes that did arrive were not edible. It was the lasagna and chicken/pork adobo. Not to mention the food is completely overpriced. The place has potential if they fix all of those things. If all you want is a place with a pool and a clean bed then this is the place for you.

I liked the room in general. The furnishings were nice and the bed. The restaurant and pool were nice too. But there was a fly in the restaurant.

It seemed that there were works being done in the hotel so we were hearing some noises from our room. Also, there were outlets near the TV that were there but not functioning at all. The automatic door closer could have been planned better because it hits the cabinet when door is opened. The bathroom did not have a shower curtain and lacks lighting having only 1 light inside. One of the elevators looked dusty from construction when we used it. Our room door had a mark on it that looked like paint mark or dust from construction. I understand that the hotel just opened late last year but then it should be ready if it is already open to the public. And also, I hope that there will be an option for credit card payment soon.

Joshua and his team where excellent... very kind, helpful, friendly, professional. We have already booked my son in for a stay next month..

Was a soft opening and actually we were the first guests. Only complaint was the gym wasn't ready ... but this is expected on a soft launch.
