Modern Apartment Central Woodstock with Parking

Warm and comfortable. Very close to the village centre and Blenheim Palace.

Lack of parking. There is a garage with the apartment however it is only suitable for a small car.

Good central location. Short walk to pubs and restaurants. Easy walk to Blenheim Palace. Parking in the garage was a bit tight as we have a large car but we got in ok. The TV was amazing more channels than we have at home. Very much enjoyed watching the Disney channel.

The floors are solid concrete so hard underfoot. Underfloor heating does not work in the lounge so the evenings were a little cool and this was when the weather in October was unusually warm during the day. We needed the blankets left in the lounge in a basket to keep warm whilst watching TV. If you cannot get your car into the garage the street parking is permit holders only. The nearest parking is some way off in a public car park.

The flat is lovely, spacious and clean. Perfect for what we needed, which was a one night stay. We were going to Blenheim after a day in Oxford and this was perfectly situated for both.(and considerably better value than anywhere near as nice in Oxford) In the evening we walked about 5 minutes into Woodstock where we had a lovely meal in The Punch Bowl pub. You can walk into Blenheim from the flat, about a 10 minuted walk to the pedestrian entrance or drive for 10 minutes and enter through the main gates.

The garage was tiny and we couln't get the car in (SUV) and be able to get out again! Parking was very limited nearby but fortunately managed to squeze into a space on the road. The noise from the road outside of the bedroom windows was unbelievably loud, not helped by a crack in the window and the window openings not closing correctly. This would be a big problem if staying for more than one night - I considered sleeping in the living room. I suggest getting the windows replaced with good double glazing, if this was done I would be happy to return, if not I would choose elsewhere.

Bright, spacious and airy apartment in close proximity to Woodstock.

Grim exterior, no lighting in communal areas and garage too small to accommodate anything except a compact vehicle. Road noise definitely an issue. Although generally clean there were used cloths left in kitchen sink and the cleanliness of bedding was questionable.

The location was idea for shops,restaurants (5min walk) and perfect for Blenheim Palace (12min walk). It was very clean and tidy just what we needed. Garage was tight ! But managed to use it .

Noisy traffic ! Also a photo of block of flats (where staying- was a bit run down on the outside) .
