The food was excellent and we enjoyed a lot. And the hotel Staff and MD Madam is very co operative.

It's location is very good

Hotel doesn't have any elevator...and stairs are very narrow

The location. It's on the beach 100 mtr from the sea with just the beautiful Samudra park/sunset point in between. The park has beautiful arches and frescoes of kerala art on strategically placed walls. The sounds of the wave lulls you to sleep. The vegetarian restaurant offers sumptuous North Indian meals. The cafeteria downstairs has a muffins, burgers, fresh juices, hot drinks on offer always. The proprietor is always available with a warm smile and friendly suggestions for your itinerary. July and Manunha are very helpful as are the staff in the restaurant. Must try the mushroom kaju masala with missi roti. Having tea out on the common balcony watching the waves crashing on the shore and fishing boats setting out to sea at dusk after a spectacular sunset. Morning tea is served with a smile and cookies with masala and melon seeds. Rooms are clean with freshly laundary.linenand towels.Instant geyser with good quality shower is welcoming after a long day out. . The kettle and tea bags kept in the room are very convenient. There is an ancient Ayyappa temple on the opposite side. Driver Sashi, was a great tourist guide, well versed in the local history and took us to see all the interesting tourist spots and also meandered through the lanes of the city with lots of history.

Constant, incessant playing of very loud recorded devotional music at the temple mornyand evening which drowns the noise of crashing waves. The temple authorities could be prevailed upon to lower down the volume perhaps....
